Not Much Going On...

But Miss C did just send me a text asking me what her phone number was. So there's that.

Eventually I'll upload a video from our Halloween party. I just have to get motivated. GOOD LUCK.

Meh

We have done absolutely nothing exciting.  Our work schedules don't really allow for awesome bff tine, but what can ya do?  Gotta make that money!  I have been planning to take pictures and post our stupid conversations we do have, but I'm lazy and have yet to do such...obviously.   Maybe I can convince Mrs. Wilson to get drunk with me next week and go to work hung over one day ;)  Doubtful but try I shall!!!  I'm bound and determined for the Halloween party to be epically awesome since I'm taking a day off work for it.  Maybe we'll have something sweet to post about after that.   Wish us luck.  Now that I've gotten paid it's time to go buy healthy foods.  At least we're walking the dogs.  It's a slow start, but it's a start non the less.

Workouts, Day 1

Has been postponed. 8D

It was fracking cold this morning! And raining! I told Miss C I'm not a mailman - rain, sleet, AND snow are all excellent reasons for me to not go out of a morning. I am going to take the dogs on a walk when I get off work today, though, to make up for it. So there! 8P

Also, last night Mr. T had several friends over to watch Paranormal Activity so I ended up staying up later than I should've if I was going to wake up at 5:30. I didn't watch the movie, but I didn't go to bed on time, either. Lose/Lose!

Kitty....and Doggy....Living together in misery....

So my cats had Miss C's dog, Sadie. We bought a kitty door and Mr. T has sawed most of half of the door to put it up (long story, not important). We're going to keep them in the great room with the door shut so dogs can't get in, but with a kitty door so the cats can get around. Until then, though, they're just locked in the spare bedroom. I try to let them out when Sadie's put up or outside. Well yesterday I let her out, so I let the cats out. But it was rainy and gross, so I didn't want to leave her out too long. I tried to herd the cats back into the spare room, but Chairman would have none of it. So I was like "FINE - you can STAY OUT, then!" and closed the door.

What followed was a lot of "Sadie?!" when I thought she went into our room (where Chairman ended up hiding), "SADIE!" when I knew she went into our room, hissing from Chairman when Sadie found him, and barking from Splinter at Chairman's hissing. Blech. Then I hear some plastic rustling, intense hissing, and general flailing about. "SADIE!!" - She comes running in, bleeding like crazy. Chairman got her across the face, including her nose. Apparently dog noses bleed a lot. Who knew? Mr. T puts Chairman up (he doesn't protest as much this go around), I wipe off Sadie's face, and we all go about our day.

Fast forward a few hours: I'm getting ready for bed and notice my underwear is everywhere in the closet floor. I keep it in a little basket which used to be on my dresser. Since my dresser is now used to hold the TV in our bedroom, my underwear basket is in my closet floor. (Now, since you're reading this all at once you OBVIOUSLY know what happened. If you had several hours between the two you wouldn't be so clever, so hush!) My first thought was that a dog had gotten into it. It slowly registered with me that this is where it all went down. So I kind of chuckle as I'm picking up my underwear.

Then it hits me - plastic rustling. There isn't any plastic in my closet! Except...........my wedding dress. Yup - Chairman had panicked into the corner where my dress was hanging. He'd torn a big hole in the plastic. There were only a couple of pulls where his claw caught the fabric of the dress, but then Sadie's poor nose had BLED ON IT. It was only one smear and we got it *most* of the way out. It's still there if you know to look for it, but it's near the hem, on the back of the dress. Who's gonna notice?

Gah - animals suck.

ONE WEEK!

It's one week until Mrs.Wilson and I are officially best friend room mates!  Well, I will unofficially be up there most of this week in the soon-to-be old home stead.  So, I should be getting my belongings together but instead I've decided to write a blog post.   Procrastination at its best.  I need to talk to the bestie about when I'm heading up there.  I have to work Sunday night. This was poorly planned.  Just this weekend I mean.  Me starting my new job and them closing on the house around the same time was just magical though.

Final Rental House Party

Mr. T and I had our final movie night/house party this past weekend. Miss C came up with her dog Sadie and we had...probably 20 people?...in our tiny house. THINGS WILL BE SO MUCH NICER IN THE BIG HOUSE. Of course, all the beer/soda spillage will have to stop. Peeps be getting murdered if it doesn't. *glaring at the world* This was seriously the messiest party we've ever had here. I think it's because we also grilled out, so there were lots of plates.

We also watched The Chronicles of Riddick. Well, most of us saw parts of it. After almost everyone had cleared out, Mr T, Miss C, Roommate, Repeat, KayKay, and I went to a freshman house party Mr. T's friend was hosting. The kid's cool, but so young! We were afraid if the cops showed up we'd get ticketed for enabling a minor, or whatever it's called. But then we realized the minors were giving us the alcohol! What is that?? Eh, either way it was super packed with children so we didn't stay long.

While we were there, however, Miss C tried to start a couple fights. First she got in the middle of a beer pong argument about whose turn it was. Actually, I think she just tried to start an argument. I'm pretty sure they weren't actually arguing. Well we dragged her outside and she proceeded to shut the door that said "Don't shut this f*cking door!" Well this faaaaaat fat chick got supa pissed about it. Luckily she didn't know Miss C was the one that had actually done it. But Miss C wanted to let her know. Oh goodness, did she. I kept trying to distract her. Meanwhile, Repeat was all "Don't sweat it - just go through the window!" (Fatty could NOT have fit through that window, fyi.) He walks over to open the window and BAM! it falls out of its frame. Thank GOODNESS it didn't break! Now back to Miss C - she's still all pissy and staggery and I'm trying to hold on to her belt loop to keep her away from Miss Fatty when she trips over a ladder. Almost busts her face. It was hilarious. But then we decided it was time to go. And quickly.

KayKay was obsessing over going swimming, so we broke into an apartment complex's pool that's near our house. Well, we didn't "break in" as much as just walk in - it wasn't locked. There were two dudes sitting in the lounge chairs talking, so that was a bit awkward. Well, it wouldn't have been if we had suits. But we just swam in our underdrawers (oh lawd!). It was a lot of fun. I probably would've never done it if alcohol hadn't been involved....but I'm glad we did it. 8D

Then we all came back to our place and passed right the f out. It was a good night. And Mr. T and I went to church the next morning. It's no wonder we don't fit in at our small group...

Ten Days!

At this very moment, ten days from now, I will be standing in my very own house!! I can't wait!!!

We got our appraisal back from the mortgage people and it's higher than what we're paying for the house. Which I was happy about until one of my friends pointed out that means our taxes will be higher. Bubble buster!!  8P

I've talked to the Realtor and the mortgage dude and everything seems good to go for our scheduled closing date/time!! The AC had some condensation build-up, but the seller agreed to get it looked at. Mmmmm... I'm so excited! 8D 8D 8D

Bob and Boobs

Me- I don't think I like this glasses man

B- glasses ?

He's EXCITED.

Me- Yes the first one

B- and may be looking at titties

Me- I'm quite fond of bob

B- ah-ooooo-gah!

Me- LOL!!!

B- BD

Me- That's how I look when I'm looking at titties

B- teehee

Me- Especially when I remember how big mine are...I don't realize sometimes

B- lol
Look in the mirror, be like dayum!

Me- LOL
It's mostly pictures that get me...it's like Geezus!

B- lol
no doubt
I'm usually amazed at the difference between my boobs with no bra and my boobs with my padded bras.
Like....sad panda.

Me- Weird how that works lol
B- yeah
They're just...different sizes, or shapes, or something.

Me- I don't really know what small titties are supposed to look like cuz I had none then they were just massive so every time I see titties in movies I'm like those look weird then my guy friends have to tell me that no those are pretty normal and fantastic

B- lol!

Me- And then I think well maybe I'm the one with weird looking titties and I just don't know it because well they're mine and I'm not like a titty connoisseur

B- lol!

House Update

Just to let you know how things are progressing - we were pre-approved for the loan. Not sure if I mentioned that yet. I have to go to a financial class this Saturday...teach me how to manage my money. One thing I thought was weird was that I had to get a signed and dated letter from Mr. T saying I had complete access to the money in my bank account. I was like...I'm the primary account holder, right? Why the f do I need my husband's "permission"? But whatever. Rather than be difficult I just did it.

They did the inspection and there was some water build-up in the AC unit, so we're requesting an inspection/repair by a professional technician. Whoa. I just realized I don't know how to spell "technician". Good to know... Everything else in the inspection looked good, so yay!

As far as packing goes...We have a lot of it up in boxes now. Woop Woop I'd say about 90% of our loose stuff is packed up. Most of the stuff NOT packed is stuff we're going to need over the next couple weeks. But it's getting closer every day!!16 days and we'll be in our new home. :) Ah, it's gonna be so great!!

This Saturday we're having our final party at our final rental house. Miss C says she's coming, along with about 15 other people, so we should have some good stories. We shall see...

FB Chat

Story I told Miss C over FB chat this morning:

So....
I had that period tracker, right?
And I was using it to track the times we had sex.
Just to be depressed that married people don't have lots of sex.
But now that I'm not having my period, it's been freaking out about me being "late".
And I can't turn off the period tracking part of it.
Because that's the whole point of the app.
So I did a search for "sex tracker"
and I found a good one.
It's a little too....detailed....for me, though.
It's for like super sluts.
options: ass, group, hand, normal, oral, phone, menses, refused, toy, webcam; places: car, home, motel, outdoor
And then it has all the different positions.
You can score it, put how many times it happened, and the duration.
Then there's a place for extra notes.
Some chick only gave it 4 stars because you can only record one partner per day.
I was like...wtf?!
It's LoveCal, if you're interested.
But the main moral of my story is this: later on that day my boss wanted me to test a QR code they had made for a podcast. But I didn't have a QR Code reader on my phone, so I had to go in the play store. and when I clicked in the search box, it displayed that drop-down list of previous search terms.
And my top one was "sex tracker".

Drunk Sarah is Drunk

My text exchange with Miss C last night (I went out drinking with friends - two bands we like were at my favorite bar ON THE SAME NIGHT).

First, a back story:

A few weeks ago when Miss C was in town we went to this same bar, and dressed up for a "Ladies' Night". I do this from time to time...get all dressed up to go out drinking and regret it as soon as we walk in and everyone is in jeans and t-shirts. Anyway - we did it. And then we got DRUNK. Miss C had just moved back from Vegas, and lost a lot of things along the way. So the heels she was wearing were too big. Well, on our way....down? Up? I don't recall - we were on the stairs - she tripped over her shoes, flipped around so she was going down the stairs head-first, on her back, and her skirt came up over her head. Ah - we were going down. She told me later all she could think about was the fact that her skirt was pulled up. "My panties!!!!" omg - I still roll when I think about it. It was sooo funny! And terrible. I'm glad she wasn't hurt, and that no one else was on the stairs. Well, there was a dude, but he totally booked it when he saw her fall. What a douche.

Alright, now fast forward to present day. Well, closer to present. It was Friday night. I sent her this text:

"My panties!!!"
I was sober then. It was three more hours before Drunk Sarah arrived. But I wanted to tell you the embarrassing to Miss C back story, so I did. :P

Around 1:00am, this happened (after I had had two Long Island Iced Teas and was on Drink #3):

Me:
"Strawberry vodka and Sprite tastes ldke zandy from my childhood. I don't know what that means."
Miss C:
"Lol!!!! Sounds...delicious?"
Me:
"Maybe. I'm also drunk."
Miss C:
"Lol really? Who knew ;)"
Me (30 minutes later):
"You ever pee so good you got goose bumps?"
Miss C:
"Bahahahahaha"
Me (this morning):
"Liquor poos are the worst."

So....yeah. I mean, relatively calm for Drunk Sarah. But I wanted to share. SHARING IS CARING.

Yarg - PAPERWORK!

I am NEVER buying another house. This paperwork is killing me!! Just got a huge stack from the mortgage company. They said I had to get it back to them by Monday. But when the Realtor sent them the contract, the counter offer was so illegible from all the scanning and reprinting he thought we were buying the house for $1k less than we actually are. By the time that got straightened out, he had already mailed me this contract. So it has the wrong values on it. PLUS I have no clue what any of it means. No clue. Like...with all the other stuff I've had a pretty good grasp on it. This? Not at all. We are going to talk to Mr. T's aunt (she did mortgage/realty stuff for years) about it tomorrow.

So, yeah. I'm glad we chose a house that will work for us for all eternity, because you'll have to pry me out of it. I told Mr. T the same thing after we were getting married - I will never divorce him, and he better not die young, because I am not planning another wedding!!

Anyway, that's all I have for now. I have filled up all 20 boxes we bought last week, and got three more from work. Already filled one up with our Corningware, since we use it so rarely. I'm going to start packing plates next. We have enough paper/Styrofoam ones from parties that we can just eat off of those for the next month. No more washing dishes here! Wooooooo!!!! I can't WAIT to have a garbage disposal, dishwasher....actual decent-sized kitchen....my own bathroom.... Oh, that reminds me! I've been constructing a list of "New House Awesomes" that will be a blog post soon. So keep your eyes peeled!!

Aaayyy yo!!!

B is closing on the house early!!! And I don't feel bad for stealing her thunder since she already spread my awesome new job news ;)  September 28 kids!!!  And I'm going to have an awesome yellow bedroom!! Or the purple one I haven't really decided lol.  I feel like I should be doing something productive in the moving aspect but I really have nothing to do since I never really un-packed after I moved from the hell hole of North Las Vegas, so I guess I'll just sit and wait and try to control my excitement :D

Signed, Sealed, Delivered

IT'S OURS!

:)

The Realtor was just here to have me sign a massive pile of papers. Which were apparently nothing compared to what I'll be signing on our closing date (the day I sell my soul for a house). And I wrote my first check. The "earnest money" check. So it's money we'll get back, eventually. Next comes the check for the inspection. And the check for the realty company...to "process paperwork". And then a termite inspection. And any closing costs we'll have to cover. Which I don't *think* will be any, right? Because they're going to pay up to X amount, and then we've got that extra $1k...so I'm thinking we just might not get our full $1k back. But what do I know? And then! Then we'll be paying out the arse for the next thirty years to continue to live in this house. My PRECIOUS! I think its name will have to be Gollum. Or Smeagol. Maybe Smeagol - he was the nice one. But Gollum is the one who always said "My pREcious!!"

I think I need to go to bed.

Oh - exciting news of the "roommate" variety! Miss C just got official word of her start date for her Murfreesboro job! It's in two weeks. Which, if you don't know, or don't care to check, is still in September. We won't have the house until October. Sooooo... EARLY ROOMMATES! She'll be crashing on our couch for a couple weeks before the move!

Gah, there was stuff I was going to do today that I have not done. Nope, not at all. Goodnight!

Hello Star Shine the Earth says heeelllllooooooo

Tis B and I on the left...just a little bit of awesomeness you have to look forward to

Well, hello dear friends!  I guess the bestie finally decided to make this stinkin blog like I've been bugging her to do for 56 million years.  As you already know we are about to be room mates!!! I'm so frackin excited I could just pee!  I feel like it will be just fantastical.  I've been meaning to chime in, but I just got back from Gburg seeing family and my sweet little nephey poo for the weekend.  Anywho I wanted my BestieMcBestFriend to do this because I feel like we're pretty damn hilarious, so I'm going to start posting stupid things we do on the blog.  Which will probably end up being much better than my other blog.  There's so many stories to tell and I don't even know where to start.   I'll also try to get video footage for your viewing pleasure ;)  BUT I have to work tonight and I've had no sleep today, so I'm off to take a nap and we can start this grand adventure another time.  I know you're probably all just giddy with excitement, but you'll just have to wait.  Cheers!!!

Proof!

WE'RE HOMEOWNERS!

*squee!!

Just got a call from the Realtor - she's sending me the paperwork to approve their final counteroffer. Once we have official approval for the loan...we're buying a house!!!!

Now, off to play disc golf with our friends. Best Labor Day EVER. :D

Packing... Day 1

Heh. So we haven't even closed on the house, but we're already packing. People be all "Why you packing right now?!" and I be all "DEWD - if it isn't this house, imma be moving into another house - I am DONE with this renting BS!!!" So, yes, I'm packing already.

We went to Walmart and bought 20 of those "Bankers Box" boxes - the ones you assemble yourself. They're so much nicer than using random boxes from stores and such! Super sturdy, uniform size, and they don't smell like weird. Until you put your stuff in them.

I've packed up non-essentials the past couple days - DVDs, books, decorations, my giraffe collection, candles, etc. We've already filled up 15 boxes. FIFTEEN. Nine of them are just books, with some random crap on top since I didn't want to make the boxes so heavy they would break/be un-liftable. Shut up, spell-check - "un-liftable" is totally a word!

So, yeah... It's not gonna be pretty when we actually need to start packing/moving.

Also, I'm not sure when Miss C will get around to posting also...I guess nothing's really going on on her end right now. I'm sure she'll chime in soon enough. :P

Exciting News!

Just got off the phone with our Realtor - they countered our offer, but nothing too extreme, soooo.... Things are looking good! We wanted the price to end in a 5 (they started at a 9.9) - they moved it back to a 6. We wanted the fridge, washer, and dryer - they don't want to give us the washer and dryer. We asked for 100% closing costs - they only wanted to pay $5k.

She's going to try to get them to bump it up to $5.5k and see if maybe they can part with the washer/dryer... Exciting stuff! Apparently the lady has had this house on the market for 100+ days, so she's ready to get rid of it. :) Cross your fingers and say a prayer!! Hopefully this isn't a terrible mistake...

Welcome!

Hello, world!

My name is Sarah, and you may have read my other blog - The Wilson Buzz. I'm pretty awesome, and you'll laugh lots of you go there and start reading. Just, if you want to, you know?

Anyway - my darling Mr. T and I just put an offer down on a house! We should be hearing back sometime between right this second (.....nope, still waiting) and Monday at 2:00pm if the seller accepted our offer. I'm not going to talk about the house too much, for I do not want to get too ahead of myself. Even though I've already made this blog! Oopsies - I'm impatient.

The lovely Miss C (who also has her own blog) is planning on moving into town soon. Yay!! She found a lovely apartment complex she was going to move into. But! We are about to be rattling around in a three-bedroom house whose mortgage will greatly hinder our ability to partay. So....Bestie McBestFriend for the past ten years.....wanna be my roommate?! :D I didn't know what her rent was going to be, but I offered $100 less. She's too honest for her own good (and that apartment was fracking expensive!!), so she's going to be paying about half our mortgage! Don't tell her!!! lololololol

She has been trying to get me to start up a blog with her for some time. If you're a regular reader of my blog (Did I mention it yet? Go read it!), you'll know my posting is sporadic at best, so I didn't want to push my luck with not one, but two blogs to keep up with! However....I find this potential for madness too tempting to pass up. For, although we have been best friends for a decade now, we have never lived together. Can you imagine?! It....it could cause the earth to slip from its axis!! It could ruin our beautiful friendship! It could just make our lives even more awesome! Or it could be boring...

All but one of those options will make for some great blog material, and I love getting attention from strangers (Yes, I frequented chat rooms when I was in high school, why do you ask?), so here is this blog! I'll keep you updated on the house hunt and posts will probably pick up in October, when we actually (hopefully) move in together.
